Creating and maintaining a sense of community is an important part of Side Track Farmer’s Market. The market provides a great opportunity for outreach and education related to our regional food system, the environment, arts and culture, and/or government and community services.

Community tables provide anything from tips on preparing low-cost and local cuisine to low-cost animal adoptions. Be sure to check our weekly calendar to see what’s in store. To inquire about scheduling a community table activity, please note the following guidelines:

Table space is donated to qualifying organizations as space permits.

  • Qualifying organizations are those whose primary activities include providing low- or no-cost consumer education and/or technical assistance services related to agriculture, environment, arts, culture, history and/or low-income and urban populations.   Also included are family and youth service organizations, and other NGO and volunteer organizations.
  • NO direct selling, fund raising, political campaigning, petitioning or other solicitation may be conducted at community tables.
  • The Market will provide a table and, when possible, access to electricity; organizations should bring their own table coverings, display materials, and seating.
  • To inquire about availability please send a description of your organization’s mission, the proposed activity, and the desired date(s) to SideTrackFM@gmail.com
